Proposed Interview Date: Week Commencing 10 February 2025

Contract Type: Temporary for 18 months

Salary: FC5 £27,087.17 – £29,508.69 (Pro-Rata)

Working Pattern: 36 Hours per week

Location: Based at Brunton House, Cowdenbeath but mostly working from home

Job Details

You will be responsible for accurately assessing Fife Housing Register applications, undertaking further investigation and gathering supporting information to complete the assessment, exercising judgement when assessing more complex applications for housing to ensure a quality service is provided to FHR customers.

Working within a small team you will demonstrate a strong commitment to improving performance and working together as team to ensure a quality service is provided to customers and our FHR partners.

The Person

  • Must be Educated to SCQF level 6, which includes Highers or SVQ level 3, or equivalent.
  • Have Knowledge and awareness of national housing initiatives, housing regulation and housing legislation
  • Ability to work as part of team towards common goals as well being able to work independently.
  • IT Skills, communication skills and ability to provide a regular and effective service.
