What you’ll do:

• Manage a portfolio of clients, handling their ongoing accounting, tax preparation, and planning
• Prepare UK Limited Company Accounts, Corporation Tax Returns, Partnership Accounts, and Personal Tax Returns
• Provide clients with sound tax advice and strategies for optimal tax efficiency
• Review and submit VAT Returns, handle invoicing & reconciliations, and manage client meetings
• Oversee client onboarding, engagement letters, and fees
• Register clients with HMRC, liaise with them, and manage company secretarial duties (if required)
• Review colleagues’ work and provide constructive feedback

We’re looking for someone who:

• Holds a recognised accounting qualification (MAAT, ACCA, ICAS)
• Has at least 3 years’ experience managing a client portfolio
• Possesses strong and up-to-date knowledge of Accounts, Tax, and VAT relevant to UK businesses and individuals
• Is proficient in Cloud accounting (Quickbooks), tax software, and online software (training provided)
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and manages time effectively
• Has excellent communication skills and builds strong relationships with clients and colleagues
• Takes ownership of work, works independently, and meets deadlines
• Is a team player who values continuous learning and improvement
