About the Role

We are seeking a Site Support Security Officer to join our team in Edinburgh. Ideally, you will have 2 years’ experience in either security or customer service and hold a valid SIA licence. If you’re within a reasonable commuting distance from the site and ready to take on a customer-focused role, this opportunity could be for you.

• Hours: 36 hours per week (covering days, nights, and weekends)
• Pay rate : £12.00/hr
• Preferably 2-year Security or customer service Experience

Here’s What We’re Looking For

• Maintain site security through regular patrols, monitoring, and responding to any incidents.
• Conduct searches of vehicles and persons as required, ensuring site safety.
• Act as a key holder, ensuring site access control and integrity.
• Deliver excellent customer service, assisting visitors and staff in a professional and approachable manner.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues and management to ensure smooth site operations.
• Utilise IT systems to log incidents, complete reports, and monitor security activities.
• Maintain high levels of vigilance and integrity while on duty.

What We’re Looking For:

• SIA licence and the ability to commute to the Edinburgh site.
• Ideally 2 years’ experience in security or a customer service role.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• IT literate with the ability to use basic systems for reporting.
• Ability to pass a drugs screening to work on site.
• Reliable, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
