The IT Security team is responsible for proactively identifying threats, security gaps, and vulnerabilities. In addition, the team will work closely with the Information Security, IT Operations and Software teams to ensure that we have robust processes and that our infrastructure and systems are safe and secure.

We have an exciting permanent opportunity for a  Cloud Security Engineers to join our growing team in Glasgow.

Responsibilities

• Designing and upkeep of cloud security architectures
• Develop security strategies and architectures to protect cloud environments (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
• Cloud security engineering, investigation and incident response activities
• Tune security tool configuration to minimise false positives
• Collaborate with internal IT Operations and Software Development teams to advise on cloud security best practices
• Ensure that cloud configurations meet industry best practices and regulatory requirements
• Adhere to incident response plans and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences
• Continuously monitor security systems, logs and alerts to identify and respond to potential security incidents
• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify weaknesses in the IT infrastructure

We would love to hear from if you have:

• Qualifications in CCNA, AZ104, AZ500, CISSP and CCSP
• Strong fundamental understanding of computer networking across LAN’s and WAN’s
• 5+ years of experience working with a public cloud infrastructure
• Proficient with Powershell, Azure CLI and KQL
• Azure Key Vault, Azure Policy, Managed Identities, Service Principals, Secret Management, Azure Advisor, Azure Log Analytics
• Experience with incident response and reacting to security alerts
