Registered Veterinary Nurse – Small Animal

What you’ll be stepping into

Inglis Vets has an exciting opportunity for a full or part-time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our large team in our busy Dunfermline hospital.
We understand the importance of maintaining a healthy work-life balance. We offer flexible rota patterns and working hours to accommodate your personal needs and priorities. Whether you prefer fixed or flexible work patterns, we are committed to finding the right solution for you. We are looking for someone to cover 40 hours per week over 4 or 5 days between 7:30am – 7pm Monday to Friday. There is a requirement to work approximately 1:6 weekends with stand down time, we have only very occasional need for out of hours cover due to our dedicated Night Nurses.


About Us

We are a busy and well-established Veterinary Hospital with 8 branches located in Fife and Central Scotland. We are dedicated to providing our clients with an excellent care plan and offer our own out of hours services. Our Cowdenbeath Branch is a clinical training centre for RDSVS Vet Students, we are a nurse training practice and host IVC Graduate Academy Vets in practice! Our Dunfermline Satellite Branch on Hospital Hill is kitted out with excellent facilities such as a hydrotherapy tank for complementary therapy and across our branches, we have; digital x-ray, advanced ultrasound, multi-parameters, capnography, a full suite of laparoscopy and endoscopy, cat-only waiting and consult rooms, as well as fully equipped laboratories.


About the Team and Culture

We have a passionate and hardworking team of 100 employees, including over 30 Registered Veterinary Nurses and Animal Care Assistants, 30 Vets and 30 Support Staff. In addition to our permanent staff, we have a visiting orthopaedic surgeon, dermatologist and ophthalmologist. We are very enthusiastic about our teams’ development and currently have vets studying for certificates in medicine, surgery and cardiology. Our branches are spread across Central and West Fife and also West Edinburgh, West Lothian, Clackmannanshire and Kinross
