Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled removals Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of furniture removals, enabling them to efficiently handle various driving tasks and removals work. This role involves transporting goods using a 3.5 ton luton van while ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining excellent communication with team members.

Responsibilities
– Operate delivery vehicles in a safe and responsible manner.
– Execute timely deliveries of goods to designated locations while adhering to traffic regulations.
– Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition and report any mechanical issues.
– Assist in loading and unloading vans.
– Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations.
– Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
– Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations during transportation and handling of goods.

Qualifications
– Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, preferably with knowledge of furniture removals.

.All applicants must be over 25 years old for insurance purposes.
– Must be able to pass a basic dbs check.
– Valid driving licence with the appropriate class for commercial driving.
– Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and customers effectively.
– Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
– Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and routes as needed.
