Little Capo is an Italian-inspired neighbourhood trattoria set to open soon in Edinburgh’s New Town, led by Stuart McCluskey (Paz Taqueria and formerly of the Bon Vivant Group). Our cozy, welcoming space will offer a celebration of regional Italian dishes and an array of carefully selected beverages. We aim to create a warm, community-focused dining experience for our guests.

Job Description:
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated full-time Front of House staff to join our team at Little Capo. As a member of our front-of-house team, you will be the face of the restaurant, ensuring every guest feels welcome and receives exceptional service from the moment they walk through the door.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat guests, providing a warm and friendly welcome.
• Take orders and serve food and beverages with efficiency and attention to detail.
• Assist guests with menu selections, offering recommendations and answering any questions about the dishes and drinks.
• Ensure the dining area is clean, organized, and set up for service.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues to ensure a positive dining experience.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service and timely delivery of orders.
• Process payments accurately and efficiently.
• Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a front-of-house role, preferably within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• A friendly and approachable demeanor with a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• A strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to teamwork.
