Barista Job Description – Paisley, Glasgow, UK
Barista
The Restaurant Group is seeking a talented Barista to join our team in Paisley, Glasgow, United Kingdom. This is a Part-time, Permanent position offering a salary of £11.55 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and tea beverages
- Assist customers with menu selection and provide excellent customer service
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Operate equipment such as espresso machines and grinders
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Barista or in a similar role preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and a passion for quality
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Knowledge of coffee and tea brewing methods and equipment
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
