Academic Families is a leading international education agency recruiting, supporting international students as full time students at UK boarding schools. Founded in Edinburgh 12 years ago, we remain entrepreneurial, ambitious and fast paced with a global marketing strategy.

Academic Families is developing our digital database to showcase the UK’s world class schools and assist international families select the best school for their child.

We are expanding and are recruiting staff to join our marketing team.

The Role

Key responsibilities and tasks include –

  • Conduct weekly, monthly and campaign end reporting across all platforms.
  • Liaise with business development team to enhance lead nurturing strategies.
  • Proactively manage and troubleshoot CRM system, ensuring smooth operations and data accuracy.
  • Build, monitor, and optimise email marketing campaigns to drive engagement and conversions.
  • Optimise automation workflows to assist operations teams .
  • Maintain the company website, track its performance, and implement necessary updates to improve user experience and SEO.
  • Set up new website pages and forms.

Skill requirements

To do well and enjoy the role you need to have –

  • excellent IT skills, especially MS Office suite.
  • knowledge of WordPress, CRM system (preferably HubSpot), Google Ads Manager, Google Analytics, Workflows and Conditional Logic.
  • strong attention to detail, analytical skills and a logical approach to problem solving.
  • flexible attitude and proactive with a high standard of customer service.
  • ability to work to deadlines with a strong work ethic.
  • good communicator with good written and spoken English.
  • demonstrate integrity and professionalism.
  • minimum of one year experience, ideally in data analytics.

We’re offering

Hours

This is a full-time role – 37.5 hours per week. Work hours are 9am – 5pm with 30 minutes for lunch, Monday to Friday but may vary and flexibility may be required at busy times. Holiday entitlement is 28 days pa. You will considered to join some of our exciting half term trips – UK and overseas – as a staff member.
