Your Role: Protect, Prevent, and Excel

As a Retail Security Officer, you will be the frontline guardian of B&Q’s people, property, and assets. Your role will be to:

• Ensure Safety & Compliance: Uphold the highest standards of safety, complying with all legal and regulatory requirements.
• Stay Alert: Be the eyes and ears on the ground—identify and report any potential threats or hazards.
• Act Professionally: Handle challenging situations with grace and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
• Enhance Service Delivery: Review and suggest improvements to our security procedures, helping us raise the bar every day.

What You’ll Bring:

• Experience: You’ve got previous security experience and know how to handle the unexpected.
• SIA License: A must-have for this role—either Security Guarding or Door Supervision.
• Bonus Points: SC Clearance and a CCTV PSS SIA License are highly desirable.

Ongoing Development:

• Stay Sharp: You’ll undergo continuous training to keep your skills fresh and up to date.

• Plan Ahead: Ensure your SIA license is renewed well in advance—16 weeks before expiry.
