Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff and Bar Backs to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced setting and have a passion for the hospitality industry.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, while adhering to food safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
• Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and providing recommendations when needed.
• Handle cash transactions efficiently, demonstrating basic maths skills to ensure accurate billing.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to support food service as required, contributing to a seamless dining experience.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
• Assist in restocking supplies and maintaining inventory levels to ensure the bar is well-equipped at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality sector is preferred but not essential.
• Cocktail experience preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
• Strong basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing tabs.
• Excellent time management abilities to thrive in a dynamic environment.
• A commitment to providing outstanding customer service and creating a positive experience for guests.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is advantageous.
• A friendly disposition with the ability to work well as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when necessary.

Pay: £8.60-£12.50 per hour
